The humified organic carbon

Annex 12 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 75/2010, in defining the quality of a fertilizer, gives each element its related rating index. The one attributed to humified organic carbon is the highest: the gap between two elements in different forms is maximum in the case of non-humified and humified organic carbon: 0.3 vs. 2.5.

The rating index of humified organic carbon mirrors its extraordinary ability to enhance chemical and biological fertility of the soil, expresses the commercial value attributed by law for the fertilizer assessment and reflects the different availability of nutrients between chemical fertilizers and organic-mineral fertilizers with high amount of humified (fulvic and humic) organic carbon.
UNIMER products boast their humified organic carbon ranging from 2.5 to 5%, thus increasing significantly their rating index.
